Russ Parsley began his Digital Media career, in 1996, selling Corporate Web Design services for a Premier Web Development company previously known as MCIC in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California.  Born & raised in the Bay Area, Russ' first brush with the digital world began with a computer programming class in high school in San Jose, CA, in the early 80's.  Russ' first full time job after high school was in Fremont, CA for a computer company called Emulog Inc.

In the early 2000's Russ held positions of National ISP Sales Manager, Corporate Support Sales (PBS), Local Broadcast TV Producer/Director, Mobile DJ & Videography Company Owner, Internet Sales Director.  And since 2010, Russ has been an active Digital Sales Manager in Tucson & Detroit and an active Account Manager selling Broadcast TV / Digital Media for KSEE 24 NBC, KGPE CBS 47, YourCentralValley.com & NexstarDigital.com, Nexstar Media Group divisions in Fresno, CA.

Russ currently works with Local, Regional & National clients located in Detroit, Florida, Missouri, Arizona & throughout  California.

 As 2017 came to a close, Russ realized that there was a missing element bridging the gap from the double decade expertise he offered to the power of the Digital & Local Broadcast TV Group he represented, available in one easy to find location ... so in November 2017, DigitalFIRST.us was born. 

2022 Career Advancement 

On March 21, 2022 Russ joined forces with one of the more prominent 45+ year experienced full service Ad Agencies located in the Central Valley of California, The Fulton Group, owned by John Ostlund.  In addition, Russ returned to his original roots of Radio, as the group also owns five radio stations, four of which are legacy stations, and one, KJFX 95.7 The Fox, is the very same station that Russ launched his full time Radio DJ career  in 1990.  These changes make possible, the ability for Russ Parsley to super serve his clients' needs by providing all media services!

Russ' desire to do something bigger than himself resulted in his enlisting in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Weapons Systems Specialist. Mr. Parsley served Honorably for two tours of Active Duty.  Following Basic Training, where he achieved Small Arms Expert Marksmanship with the M-16 Rifle and graduating from his Tech School Training among the top of his class at Lowry AFB, CO, Russ was assigned to RAF Lakenheath, UK.  In April of '86, during Operation El Dorado Canyon, Russ' training was put to the test resulting in a successful campaign loading multiple F-111F Aardvark aircraft of the 24 ordered to attack Libya and its Dictator.  Russ returned to the U.S. and was assigned to Myrtle Beach AFB, SC., where he worked on the A-10 Warthog, completed NCO Leadership and achieved the Rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5).   Months prior to Operation Desert Storm, Russ accepted his 3rd 'Early Out' offer, as part of the U.S. Government's 'Force Reduction' efforts.

Mr. Parsley returned to civilian life in California to co-manage the Truckee Hotel Bed & Breakfast with his Wife, for family.  Realizing the pace was not what either had anticipated, as soon as he had the B&B working at a profit, once again, Russ relocated he and his family to Fresno, CA, which was where both families ultimately migrated to from the Bay Area in the 8 years they were away serving our country.  Due to the passion he had of serving, Russ joined the CA Air National Guard Unit in Fresno, the  144th Fighter Wing, to continue his military career as a part time traditional guardsmen working as an Aircraft Weapons Systems Technician on the USAF F-16C/D Aircraft.

In the 1990's Russ held a variety of unique civilian positions, successfully, that served to shape who he is today.  They include Radio DJ, ATM Technician, Mobile DJ, Night Club DJ, Volunteer PBS Host, Computer Training Sales, Web Development Sales, Internet Access Sales, VP Business Development B2B TeleProspecting Call Center.

In 1998, Mr. Parsley was asked by the CA Air National Guard, with his media connections and experience, to consider cross training into the field of Combat Camera (Videography).  Placing his civilian career on hold and leaving behind his wife of then, nearly 15 years, and two young sons, aged 12 & 5 years old, Russ officially accepted the request and returned to Active Duty from July - November to attend the Department of Defense Information School (DINFOS) located at Ft. Meade, MD.  Russ graduated among the top of his class and was selected by the Instruction Team, as the ranking student with 16 years of USAF / CA ANG combined service, to act as Class Leader to ensure no student fell behind, washed back or washed out.  All 22 students graduated, successfully.  With over 880 hours of video production training, Russ earned the equivalent to an AA Degree in just 5 months.
